It seems that charcoal is mostly given to gouldians and breeding birds. Should I offer charcoal to my two zebra males or would they be fine without it?
Thanks.

I add it to my mineral and grit mix, and everybody seems to love it.

I also use it, and I have found a few birds that will take some pieces of charcoal and place it in their nests--getting ready for a cookout?
