cages
I have searched a zillion bird cage sites, and am frustrated.
Does anyone know where I can get a 36 inch long flight cage, and no taller than 20 inches? I see a zillion of them at 30 inches long, but can't locate a 36L.
In my bird room, I have 2 zebra girls in a 30 in L x 18 in W x 18 in H and would like them in a longer flight cage. I have my societies in a 60 in L x 34 in W x 18 in H and my other variety of finches in an 8 ft L x 3 ft W x36 inches H small aviary which leaves me only enough room for a single flight cage for the zebra girls. Wish I could do bigger for them too. If only they could get along with others, it would solve the problem. Of course my comfy rocker recliner bird chair takes up some space too, but that needs to stay!!!! I just love to sit in there and watch my birds!!!!!
I would like to have a few finches in the living room too, but would need a corner cage. Has anyone seen one that has narrow enough bar spacing for finches? My eyes hurt from searching these zillion sites!
Also wondering if there is a place besides country feathers that has breeding and flight cages at decent prices? I do like the kind of cages country feathers sells, you can see the birds really well in them, and easily put together several cages to make much bigger flights, ( which is what I did ) but I want more options.

Re: cages
Can't help you with the 36 inch flight (my husband builds all my cages). Here's a link for a corner cage that's pretty interesting: http://www.nuagecage.com/ Not sure if you want to go up rather then to the sides though.

Re: cages
Corners Limited makes a 38x19x19 cage. They are pricey, though. I have a bunch of them that I got at an estate sale, and I love them as basic cages, but they do not have any way to slide a divider in. It makes it harder to catch birds, etc. Mine are all double, so they have two entry doors and two trays, but still the design of the cages doesn't allow for a removable divider. They sell a divider that can be placed in the cages semi-permanently, but that is not what I wanted. http://www.cornerslimited.com/stackable.html
Quality Cages in Oregon makes a 34x18x18 cage, either a single or a double, and theirs have a removable divider, either solid or wire. I love these cages, too, but again, I got mine when a canary breeder decided to get different cages and sold these to me at a very good price. http://qualitycage.com/index.php?main_p ... ducts_id=5
Both these manufacturers make their cages with drop-in wire grates, and as I don't like grates of any kind, I just removed these completely.

Re: cages
I found one that's 18x18x34. They also have one that's 20x22x36.
Let me know if you're interested in their website.
***edit. Sally, you beat me to it. I was also talking about Quality Cage in Oregon. Most of their cages don't fold down, so shipping is more.

Re: cages
Last month I too was looking for a nice size flight cage. Check 'The Cage Warehouse' They have a stackable divided flight cage that is 36 X 18 X 18. I left the divider out and the birds have a nice big cage. I must say that the assembly directions were pretty poor. This cage took me a while to figure out but I finally got it.
I think I might have seen this cage on Ebay too.
