really your kidding right, i have always wanted a florida fancy, what do you think would be the out come with him mating with a normal female, cause i am gettin him a normal hen i might find another but for now i am thinking normal grey hen, also how old does he look.

Age is really hard to tell in finches unless they have a band that has a date on it.

i put a red band on his foot, meaning first finch my second finch will have red also. also meaning 2007 bird of mine.
this is him having a midnight snack i woke up to find him eating, and hopping around the cage,

HE'S eating at 12:01 last night

hi zebrafinch
if you get him a normal female, the outcome usually is 50% of each but it usually switches sex so in theory you will get 50%florida fancy females and 50%normal males

i dont think giving him all canary seed will be beneficial,as zebras like mostly millets.the eggfood will be fine to build him up for breeding

yep they will love millet spray but you need to get a basic foreign finch mixture from your petstore they have all the proper nutrients in that finches like here is a link for you to see what it looks like
