Got a Ino society..with a few questions

Post by Eel Noob » Mon Nov 12, 2007 2:30 am

I have been wanting to work with this color for a while now. Only thing is her wings when resting on her back crosses each other like an X. I'm pretty sure that's one of the reasons the previous owner sold her. Just wondering if this is genetic or maybe something just happened along the way as it was growing as I would really love to breed her.

Thanks

hi
this is usually just a show fault,e,g, if you where to show this bird they would pick it out because its wings cross at the back but it will not stop you breeding with it i have had canaries like this in the past and they have been no good for showing because of this fault but they have turned out to be quite good breeders

ken
you can always tell a yorkshireman, but you cant tell him much

It doesn't look like to big of a deal :) It's a very pretty bird! As long as she/he flies ok, I think it'll be okay!

Thanks all

She's doing great, I was just a little worried over the wings as I have never seen anything like it before. Hoping to acquire more Inos as that's one of the colors I really want to work with.
