I'm sorry peeps - not only does FF not notify me of when someone posts most of the time on any threads including my own I've posted on but since I've worked LATE two nights in a row I haven't been able to actually make the changes - heck I started but didn't get very far... So until I can post pictures....

But yes it does involve new species - not just finches... lips are sealed on this one still ;) But the colors are gorgeous!

But here is the thing I've only been using a portion of this house that is for the birds NOT me. So, in thinking I wanted order and space and blah blah I've been using very little space compared to what I actually have so this is where the biggest change is going to happen. I'm also going to allow breeding to happen outside of cages for most species.

For example...

I set up 12 breeding cages down the middle of the room with all different species. I made it so 3 sides were private and only the front was open for them to see out and facing away from me. This plan resulted in no breeding and no babies. But I have babies from multiple pairs of Gouldians, Fires, Cherries, BLUE CAPS, Owls, and several other species that are not coming to mind by allowing them access to the whole bird house. What gives?

So the changes come from redesigning what space I'm using for what and it will be extreme compared to what I'm using and doing now. I should be able to make a dent into these changes this weekend - I hope!

Funny you just mentionned that Misty. I just found out that my seed supplier just received a boatload of different African species. =D> I am bringing my travel cage tomorrow when I go seed shopping, never know  Besides with all my zebbies moving out, I will have the extra space. =D>

=D> :D Finch seed... 25 lb bags of it - her whole trunk was full of them...

Now in the back seat of her car had ... let's see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 cages  BUT 3 were little SHOW cages, 1 was her huge bleep cage :P and then there was one more cage that was given to me from another person (Patricia if you are reading this) with two new birdies in it... So yes Donna's poor car was FULL of feathers and seed  :D And, like she said we spent from 10:00 to 4:30 there and what was funny that I keep getting a laugh about is that she was thinking we would be gone by noon. There is just too much to see and do at a fair surrounded by your best birdie friends. I bet next fair she makes me drive by myself! :D
