Precious Little Female Zebra
This little female zebra is just so adorable I had to share her with you all. She has the most beautiful face and color. She fledged about 3 weeks ago.
What color zebra would you breed her to? I need to go through my stock and find a similar male.

John, she looks like a deep fawn, if you have a handome fawn male I would breed her to him to keep that deep fawn color going!!!! I know that the male carries the gene but I think a fawn couple would be a great looking pair!

Re: Precious Little Female Zebra
These are my two female along with a pied crested male penguin.
The female in the middle (here cheeks have whitened up since I took thee in October) and the crested decided to mate and have given me two pied penguins like dad. I decided to let them have another clutch, then when done the female will be paired with a normal male to produce penguins with the orange cheek. The pied in the crested cancelled out the orange in the cheeks of any male the pied father penguin produces.

I have one pair set up and they are in the nest already....hopeful we will see penguins by summer!!!!
The male is a granson of Patches o their could be a fawn in there somewhere!!! It is that Louisianna bloodline!!!

She is really lovely, JohnBoy. Hopefully you'll get more beauties from her. I love her soft chocolate colors.
