I switched back to BSNH. I found Just Bird Stuff's S&H is much more costly for my area.

Thanks for letting me know, Judy! I have to check out your supplier and order there if the shipping is cheaper...

I've ordered seeds but the shipping was way to expensive 19$ for my area, hopefully it was worth it. Is it normal for the shipping to be so pricey? I never order seeds over internet so I don't know the rates. Then I have another question, why did they banned all the other seeds for europian birds?

I think it's so expensive because seeds are so heavy...

Not sure what you mean with "banned the other seeds"?

While doing some research about bird food, I found out that there were more foods available before, especially for the europian finches, but for some reason it was banned from the USA,so I was just wondering if any of us knew why.

The seed we used to feed our European finches was Blattner's and it was banned because the nyger seed is not sterilized.

I have tried it and it isn't the same.
I order mine from "Moore's" in Ontario.

I don't know where you live or how much you ordered. I just ordered 5# of millet spray, 2# of Abba 3800 Euro. seed and 10# of Abba 1900 Finch seed. My S&H was $13.36.

Previously I have asked if anybody knew goldfinch breeders in WA, but found one in town next to us, so as for now just waiting for a couple of weeks before I can get the pair. Well my question would be this, how do I keep them, I did surf internet and got some info. I will have flying aviary for them, not too big but good enough, later I will post the pic. my husband is working on it. I do have a pair of gouldians, and 4 parakeets, they all have their own space and flying cages, so they don't interact, I just feel safer this way, because parakeets can harm little ones. Well this is my story. I would be glad to hear your experience with those little ones.
