Can I a pair of Diamond Doves with my Gouldians

Just a thought. Thinking of getting Doves, but not sure if I need a separate cage?

I have diamond doves with my goulds without a problem.

If the gouldians are already in there the bigger birds will frighten them for quite a while.

My Diamond Dove is fine with all my finches but their size does intimidate the finches at first -- then, after the finches realize they are harmless they calm down and accept DD's with no problems.

I agree, Diamond Doves are very docile creatures. I housed my pair with a pair of Zebra Finches at first thinking that the little finches would do just fine with the bigger, but peaceful doves. I realized very quickly that the little Zebs had a serious punch in regards to cage hierarchy. Gouldians should do just fine with the Diamond Doves. As long as they have adequate space and both species are slowly introduced to each other's existance, there should be no problems.
