Hi everybody!
I am new in this very helpful forum. First, excuse me if I don't post in the good place. I would like to know what is the color of my society finchs : can someone help me? Because I need to know that to calculate genetics...
Thank you!

Fawn Pied on top and Chocolate (with light pied markings) on the bottom? I think? I'm not 100% sure. Google pictures for comparisons. Beautiful birds either way. Good luck!

God is my redeemer and it is through Him I have found eternal happiness. I am grateful, I am blessed, and I am truly loved. I wish all this and more for all members of our finch forum family. May you all be blessed and highly favored.

hi
i thought while we were on a society finch thread, there is a pic here of my oldest crested male, when i had them this little guy was very tame and would let me take pics of him and his wives...and he had a lot and all the chicks he had he looks moth eaten in this pic i know but he was very old by society finch standards i think he was about 6 or so and ironically he died shortly after this was taken he had feathers missing all over but he was never ill i checked the missing breast feathers out thinking he had some kind of desease, but looking in my books made it clear it was just his age!

Thanks for the link Ken!
He seemed to be in a very spacious cage! I love these birds, they are so nice and "player" (sorry for my bad english!) I have gouldian, which are beautiful too, but they're again very shy, depsite they are at home since 4 months...
