Thank you Deborah, Tracy, Sally, Donna and Jerry. sally they are wonderful....Donna, I think these moght just make it, they look different than the first clutch...they are rather playful, they were playing with the cocofiber at the entrance and very curious about me, one leaned out of the box a little to get a better look and me.

Jerry they are an ABBA nest box....see if you can google a company you can order them from.

Not so sure Arnold would be a good idea....Maria left him since he admitted to an affair and a child as a result of of that affair many yrs ago!!!

Lovely little guy! He looks like Winston Churchill... :lol: Can't wait to see the rest of them pop out! What is that nesting material stuffed in there?

Cindy, I'll bet you're right on the feeding/begging part --

I wish mine would get busy again. :?

Thank you. is the only one that ventures out since Saturday, the rest are hanging out still in the nest. He is all over the cage and still begging a little.

The one thing I have nticed is this clutch the parents are not letting the babies make begging noises early on, they kept them topped off with food. Once out or big enough to be really heard the parents feed them right away and don't let the begging go on long.

The previous clutch the babies begged and begged.

Well 3 made their appearance out of the nest, one is still chicken and the baby third from the left was ready to join him in the nest box as I took the picture.Mom and Dad are on the far right.

The close up of the two young is of "Mr Serious" on the upper left and a sibling.
