you're right kenny! It is amazing indeed!
sometimes they fly so fast that I think they won't be veering in time and will end up smashed against the aviary panel, but no way! they land on whichever perch they choose with amazing accuracy.

Nice picture!! =D> =D> =D>

I like that hanging bath tub. What a great idea! I bet the water stays cleaner than it would on the floor.
Walk-in aviary with Waxbills (6 Cordon Bleu, 3 Orange Cheek, 3 Black-rumped, 1 Lavender, ), 1 European Goldfinch, 4 Gouldians, 2 Spice Finches, 6 Owl Finches, 4 Budgies and 2 male Button Quail.
I also have 2 parrotlets, 3 dogs, 1 snake and 3 freshwater fishtanks.

So cute!! So, how do you like your Blue Caps now, Colorin? Were they a good choice in your opinion?
Anna

Lots of Red Throat Parrot Finches, Forbes, Gouldians, BCCB's, RCCB's, Owls, Societies, and BB Fires. Plus, one wonderful 15 year old son, one wonderful husband and two rotten-to-the-core Border Terriers.

hi
was just wondering seeing your bird bath,do you have a stone or something flat in the middle so that if any youngsters get in there and get to wet they can climb onto the stone while they dry out

there will be no youngsters, as this aviary is just for grown-up males. I keep the gouldian juveniles with their mothers in the breeding-aviary until after they moult. then they will come to live in this aviary.

it's OK. In the breeding aviary, when chicks are just about to fledge I always remove the bath, just in case, so I know what yo mean and why you said that :-)
