The society finches are so cute! And I can see the cheek patch too.

Well I think both of those zebras are hens #-o I have never seen them mate and I found first 2 eggs (got rid of those) then I find 5 more eggs. I am really confused should I buy 2 more males or what. I know I have one pair photo attached. They get along well. Now that I took Jack out of the aviary the three hens get along fine.

Beautiful canaries - love them all and adorable finches. Who told you that Zak was a male? They both look female to me. Some female zebras have slight cheek color but it's the sound that gives it away. Male and female zebras have a distinct sound and call that sets them apart. You can keep both females. If you plan on breeding, you will need to get two separate males and probably two additional cages, as once paired, zebras can be quite territorial. Good luck! :D

The gal I bought them from was told that the white zeb was the male and the fawn zeb was a female. I have never heard either of them sing like my Jack sings. So they are females that's all there is to it. The are the sweetest little birds I think they are my favorites.

Oooh, "Frosty" is a hunka hunk. I think he would be a perfect match for Zila, if this love connection is even possible. [-o<

Oh Trish Frosty is beautiful!!! I don't have any plans coming north not with gas prices the way they are. I really appreciate your offer I think Zila would be over the moon with Frosty.

Thanks
