I have two Prevue nickel plated cages and two big "champagne" (beige) colored cages.

Depending on where your cage is and what is behind it you could try a back-cloth or backing of some kind. Perhaps putting up something behind the finches will show them up more for you. I have natural muslin behind my flight cages so that I don't get poopers on the paint in my living room and I can then wash the muslin regularly. You could try a darker fabric or even craft paper.....

plantsandbirds,
Nickel Plated!, uoo I like that ! I looked at www.prevuepet.com , but couldn’t find it/them. I’ve got the Prevue Model #22006 and Model 1804TR, love um both. Am using the smaller one for a Pair and three Chicks they’re sitting on now.

Got the “backdrop” too, I just split a black Trash bag, and got it directly behind the Cage. Wasn’t trying to really “spruce” it up, in fact, at the time, I was desperate to just get something going to protect the wall !
In my case, my Birds were given to me. Like a friend of mine just walked in, handed me the Cage and a box of Seed, with a comment “hope you like Birds” !

Took me about ten minutes, just to pull my jaw up where I could speak !

I had thought to just past them along to someone else, but within a day, those little guys (4 males 1 hen) just took my heart over completely, and I wouldn’t give um up now, for anyting !

Have a good Day ! :)

One finchie equals two and then there are six and then if you're nuts like me you have 26!

Most of mine are adopted from a shelter because there are too many unwanted birds!

I love them too!
