Odd Gouldian song

Has anyone ever experienced a change in their Gouldians song/voice? One of mine sounds like he blew out a speaker. It crackles and doesn't sound right. I've never had air sac mites, but I treated him with S76 and it's unchanged. I had a previous male that sounded odd, but nothing as strange as his guy. Any experience this?

Only time I can recall a voice sounding like that would be when the newly fledged are learning and practicing to sing.
