On the discussion of netting to keep the birds in in case one of the glass windows breaks, I have 8 pieces of 3'X8' plexiglass that is coming off the deck. Can I use that in the aviary instead of the 1/2 X 1/2 wire mesh? I'm thinking that it will help in the winter conserve heat as well.
