Re: Big bar!
I have Continental CFW could I put that with a normal male to get CFW????
It looks like on efinch I can use normal and CCFW....if I am reading it right. Should the female be nornal or the male..I also have lightbacks.

Re: Big bar!
I am here!!
Well, I am not an expert... but
If you have a lightback, than it is possible that you can get CFW from them,
Or pair a Lightback with CCFW.
or if you have a gray male that is split for CFW and pair him with LB..
many things possible..
As it says in efinch.com: Sex-linked. The Regular and Continental CFWs and the Lightback
are all part of a multiple allelic series.
Both varieties are recessive to Lightback and
the Continental CFW is recessive to the Regular CFW.
But that is what I have done..
I allways get more CCFW boys but more of CFW girls.
I want to have CFW male, but allways get CCFW or CCFW and CFW.
maybe not so much help in me right now, sorry

Re: Big bar!
Thank you...I have a lightback male that fledged a few weeks ago and a young CCFW female. I can let them mature a little then pair them. Then fingers crossed!!
If it works then I want to work with Black Breasted and add FF, BC, Silver Isabel, Fawn to my mutations list. I have all the mutations to match with the Black Breasted...just gotta get the missing piece to the puzzle.
