I'm sure they will figure it out, are the parents sitting on them?
I also had a pair with first clutch, didnt see much food in their crops the first few days but then it added up :)
But it's better to be safe than sorry, so it is a good idea to at least get a handfeeding formula and read on the topic. I once had to handfeed but the single mother still sat on them so I just got them out to eat and then put them inside again.

Thank you all for such great support! Both parents are definitely keeping them warm and I saw the male eating the eggfood like crazy this morning! I am very new to breeding finches that is for sure so hopefully I am just being an overanxious momma :D . I went on Kijiji right after reading the post on making a brooder and found a Prince Lionheart Baby Wipes Warmer. I am going to pick it up later today. Like I said in an earlier post I also ordered the pipettes and syringes. My local pet store does not sell bird feeding formula. :roll: So now I am looking online for that.
After my scare this time I want to be prepared! :D
