after a really long n hard day at work yesterday, I got home n went to do the evening feed, and had the nice surprise of 4 chicks, so sat and watched my birds for ages, great way to relax and destress after work

I agree, the birdroom is a great de-stresser at any time! Congrats on your new chicks. What kind are they?

I can't agree more. I also enjoy waking up soon in the morning just to have some few more minutes sitting in the balcony and listening to all the bird songs around. I try to keep as many plants as possible so even wild birds love to come by and sing some songs.

great pics hoang, what type camera do you use?
the chicks are zebs liz, got 5 pairs sitting on eggs due next week and two pair silverbills sitting due anytime now, will be my first silverbill chicks

Awesome pictures and I cannot agree more. I have only had my pair of Gouldians for 3-4 months and I have become completely obsessed. My husband was the one whom originally wanted a bird and now I am the addict. I love sitting near the cage and watching them interact with each other and eating the various foods I experiment with. They are now starting to build a nest!!

My husband jokes about how enthralled I have become in such little time. Now that I have joined finchforum.com he is starting to get concerned that I am taking it too far. $\:D/$ $\:D/$ $\:D/$ $\:D/$ $\:D/$ $\:D/$

I too just love to wake up and watch the finches in the mornings as they start to eat, drink and be merry! LOL. It's a nice way to wake up and start the day.
