hello,
I need help, how to breed shaft tail bird. Please tell me about the nest box , nesting material , environment they need to breed , temperature , their breeding season , and what is the time period for one breed ?. .

I use boxes either ABBA or wooden open face keet box, coco fiber. I have bred mine at different times of the year. They are like zebras, they are usually very easy.

Before the eggs hatch start going them eggfood to let them know there is a food source for the young.

I'll see if I can find some of my posts on the different clutches mine had. You are going to love the young, they are so cute!
