Are cherries safe?
Is it okay to give my zebras some chopped up fresh, organic cherries? I can find them on neither the safe nor unsafe list...

I have wondered about Cherries for snacks too, as they are in season now. I think my finches would really love them, as they love the red seedless grapes. Hopefully someone here knows the answer.

I got a couple quarts recently, at a farmers market, and want to give them some before I eat them all!

Re: Are cherries safe?
I've read on several websites today that cherries are safe, assuming they're washed and the pit has been removed. I haven't given it personally to my birds though.
