What I did with one set of hatchlings was to use a plastic spoon and scoop them out of the nest onto a paper towel and then scoop them back into the nest when done. :D

Well, I ordered the split bands on Saturday and I am thankful for all the advice. I never considered on how I would get them out of the nest (bamboo nest) and would not have been able to do it. Even with the creative spoon trick. I guess I will be buying some nest boxes as well....and my Hubby thought we were just getting a couple birds. [-X [-X [-X [-X
