I hope you are able to reproduce him, he is stunning.
Question....Would taking a BC male and a white no tear drop female make a BC CCFW. I still am trying to figure out how the made the BC CCFW.

Re: 7-19 BC CCFW fledglings and parents
Thanks Cindy.
By the way, I was surprised to see an OBBB CFW cock in one of my last clutches (parents are 3B GRY x 3B CFW). I'll post a picture of the 2 month old bird in the coming days.
The clutch had 1 BCBB Lightback cock, 1 BB Lightback cock, 1 OBBB CFW cock, 2 BCBB CFW hens.

Re: 7-19 BC CCFW fledglings and parents
I started with one pair of normal gray...the male is a light back. They give Isabel, silver, fawn, lightback males and normals. From there I expanded to fawns, Fawn possibly split to BB (clutch of young about to fledge) BC, BC CCFW (splits from those pairs), penguins, crested (from the BC and normals). I have FF, silve, Isalbel, fawn and silver (one pair gives a dilute FS). It is amazing the color combinations of these little one!

So true, based on my experience one zebra bird can have many different hidden genes/mutations.cindy wrote:I started with one pair of normal gray...the male is a light back.
