Thanks everyone :D Unfortunately no pics until they fledge. [-X

I am watching the privacy part Liz. They have already gotten used to the solid divider going in. I just did a quick check this morning as she didn`t leave the nest as nervously as usual. Usually I just go to change out the eggfood and she leaves, but this morning I just knew something was up when she didn`t seem quite as nervous 8)

Just wanted to give a quick update. Both babies are now hatched and appear to be doing well. I am still keeping an eye on the male, but for now he appears to be doing his fatherly duties and helping out with the feedings [-o<

BTW I wish that I could take pics of these little ones [-X they are so much bigger as hatchlings than any of the other species I have  Going by the size of the parents this is quite an unexpected twist. 8)

Unfortunately, I will not be showing fledgling pics this time around
First baby was found dead at the bottom of the cage 3 days ago, and today (thanks Irene and the power outages  ) I just found the second baby passed away on the cage floor. Worst part is, we were half way home

Oh sad news :( Sorry Janine. They did such a good job. Do you think the storm scared them? Next time I hope will be a success!

Sad news - I can relate. My RCCBs tossed a whole clutch just a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully your Cubans will do better next time.
