Gouldian Genetic Generator

Post by Foosa101 » Wed Aug 24, 2011 4:52 pm

Okay, someone had posted a Gouldian generator to determine what mutations or color percentages the parents would throw and now I cannot find it again. I have searched and searched through all of my old posts used the "search" on the forum and no avail. Can someone please help me :!: :?:

Do you know if there is one that will work on a MAC? I tried that one and I get computer jargon. LOL.

There are three Gouldian forecasters posted as a "Sticky" in the Gouldian species forum.

No problem - I wasn't sure where to put the sticky so it could be easily found. #-o

If you put the word 'forecaster' in the search function - it will come up along with lots of other posts.

Agh.....i was searching "generator". So, basically what it told me is that I have a 25% of throwing BH split to blue. I thinking that's pretty darn good. It'll be a while before these start though. I know Cindy likes the blues so I am hoping I'll be able to get her some Gouldians. She needs some!

Funny how the program tells you the theortical odds vs what you actually get. My BB and /BB pair gave me 5 BB chicks and 1 /BB. So despite the theoretical odds, it is still a roll of the dice.
