Gorgeus! I keep wishing a pair of cut throat, but even if i would afford it i don't have from were to buy such things! Wonderfull! =D> Good luck with them!

No Cut throats in Romaunia, I am surprised?
Can you maybe get some from Hungary or Serbia?
They should not be too expensive?

Round two has started!
Two eggs so far that I can see!
The hen is really defensive now,
if I get near the cage and she is in the nest.
She puffs up her neck feathers and swings her
head back and forth like a cobra.

Just found this thread! Your Cutthroats are lovely. I hope they do well for you. Keep us updated on how things go. I only have the one male Cutthroat right now. I am hoping to find him a mate in the future.

I love the coloring they have.....kind of reminds me of a pheasant or a grouse. :-D

Wow that's one scary looking Momma! Amazing defensive posturing! I certainly wouldn't stick my hand in there! :shock: So happy she didn't have trouble laying these eggs! =D>

I looked in today and there is three eggs so far.
Hasn't started to sit yet, probably needs to lay a few more.
