My wife and I spent a few weekends this past summer away from home and luckily I've had family to come by to feed the birds.
For the breeding cages I ran a 1/4 inch plastic watering tube to each of the 6 water cups with a dripper fitting on each end. I set the timer to 5 minutes ON every 12 hours. Twice a day those cups overfill and the poop and seeds float out the top.
I don't have an auto system for the aviary. I was thinking about using an automatic cat watering system. Something like this:

Have you used an automatic water circulator ? Does the charcoal filter interfere with the stuff we put in the water like Iodine, S76, etc.
Automatic watering?

Re: Automatic watering?
A charcoal filter will filter out any medication and vitamin from the water.
