just got my pair of owl finch

I got my pair of owl finches yesterday and I want to know is it safe to put them in a flight cage with a pair of gouldians green singers and cording bleus.? I've noticed the female gouldian fighting for her territory? I'm new to exotic finches but I've had zebras and spices for years..

I have owl finches in my flight cage with Green Singers, Cordon Bleus, Orange Cheeked Wax Bills, Gouldians (males), Society pair and not having any problems.....

Me too, as long as you don't have any nests. I have my Owls with my GS, Society, Fire, and Lavenders. They get along fine, but I move my GS when they are breeding.

Do the owl finches need a plant cover for privacy?

OH yes, owls require a lot of PRIVACY. Artificial plants for covering would be a great idea. :) Good luck.

Congrats on your owls! I got a pair last week too and I love them to pieces!! They are so cute! And VERY quiet compared to my zebras!
