I was at the birdmart this past sun and asked one of the sellers/breeders what the food in the cages was.
He said it was tofu mixed with other suppliments such as spirulena. He said the tofu was for the protein, and his birds liked it. But like eggs, you can't leave it out very long where it is warm. This sounds like an interesting alternative to feeding fresh egg food.

Gary, Just a bit of warning, tofu can change the estrogen level and can effect certain organs in the body. So if feeding this I would not do this daily...once a week maybe.
