Re: New pair of Zebra finch
Thanks you guys...Vargur, I have a question. If I take a offspring ((hen)) of this pair and partner it with a Black Black breast ((Male)) I should get some black face, black cheek, black breast chicks, right? That's what I'm going for...
Hopefully I'll get there soon.

Re: New pair of Zebra finch
Well, BF is dominant and BC and BB is recessive,
so if the hen is BF split BC, and you pair her with
BB male, then you could get BF bird split for BB and BC,
if the BB male is split BC then you could get
BF BC split BB, and if your parent birds are split
BB, and the offspring hen is a BB carrier,
and you pair her with BB male,
you could get BB BF split BC bird.
but if the male is BB and split BC
then you could get your dream bird!
Its a lot of "IFs"
I am also working on this..
