Thanks Trish they are very pretty. Two of them have been picked at and have some feathers missing from the back of their heads. I am going to get them back to normal in short time. They are all getting along well in that cage. They will be in there until Tues. when I get a new flight cage for the CB's then I will switch them to the CB cage.

They are beautiful! Are they Indian? I wanted a pair of Africans but they all got sold. Also, I added "Dante" to my signature so everyone can call me by that. I hope you enjoy them! I heard they breed very easily. Good luck. Also, I do not think there is a limit with finches, I set one for myself sometimes, but after a while there's no point because it always gets broken,

Dante why do we put limitations on ourselves when it comes to Finches???????

More photos of the Silverbills. I think there is one male cause I heard singing a pretty song and its not any of the finches I already have. =D> I don't know if they are Indian or African Silverbills maybe someone out there will know.

hello ranchnanny, they are indian, indians have white rump feathers, africans black, indians also have light barring on chest, africans dont, ive got a pair of africans that i bought from someone selling up, i didnt particually want them at the time, but i only paid 5 english pounds for them in june 2011, they have 14 babies since then that i have sold for 8 pounds each, happy days, they are so docile and EASY to breed.

Thanks Gaz for that info. I have been researching them online but could not determine which I had. You say they are easy to breed well one is already sitting in a nest for most of the afternoon. Interesting!!!!

Holy Cow!!! I figured out that I have 2 males and two females how lucky is that??? Checking the flight cage out just a few
minutes ago I noticed the two hens nesting in the coconut swing. How cute I thought went back by the flight and they had
flown out of the swing but one of them left something behind AN EGG!!!!! How cool is that. Keeping fingers crossed.
