And Pavorati for Waterslagers!
And you can't or shouldn't keep them together!

HAHAHAHAHA , You are too funny!!!! I have to say, you have one of the fastest turn out rates for different species of birds. You bring in, switch out, and bring in, and switch out again. It's hard to keep up! It's always interesting to see what new species you bring in. It must be very exciting in your home! It's hard to get bored when you have the means to entertain such a wide array of species. Congratulations on the new canaries...the Pavarottis!

I will get more birds for sure and some may or may not stay,
but these ones are staying! ( for now )

Really how do you know you will like something with out getting them and enjoying or not enjoying them for a while!
I would have liked to keep Mango, but his song was interfereing with the Waterslager song!

All the breeders I know, have gone through pretty much the same things and as you get older you get settled into a few species or just one!
I have had practically every variety of canary and the nicest and most pleasing to listen to is the Waterslager! Bar none in my opinion!

Keeps me same at times, and the last year has been hard in many ways for my wife and I and these little birds have kept me from being committed!

Well, you absolutely have every right and reason to keep and let go whatever species you find necessary. What may work for someone, may not necessarily work for you. We all should also factor in the kind of environments we can offer. You have a wonderful aviary that you've hand-built and you have expressed that you do not want cages all over the place. This is what you have to work with so I completely understand your reasons to have to experiment with the various species.

I hope I didn't offend you with my laughter earlier. I just thought it was very funny and interesting that you are able to keep and change different species of birds at such a expedited pace. I'm familiar with the waterslager sound and I agree that it is beautiful and much more softer and subtle than the Timbrados or other canary types. I keep American Singers but even they can be too loud sometimes. I hope 2012 is a better year for you and your family.
