Societies sleeping on top of each other

I have noticed that my societies like to sleep stacked on each other on a perch :lol: I had only heard about birds doing this before, but never seen it with my own eyes!

Why on top of each other ? xD
Do your birds sleep like this too ?

It looks really funny :mrgreen:

I think they just like the closeness. I love my Soc's for some of their cuddly habits. :)

Awwww i love your pictures :D I really enjoy having societies because they are so cuddly to each other!

the Zebra babies are so cute :D they are so fluffy and i like their colours!

My societies do the same, i once counted 12 sleeping in same nest box, also they seem to raise young together they the only birds i let breed in flight cages
To many pets to list :)
Dogs,Cats,Birds,Rabbits,Hamsters,Lizards,Snakes,Rats,Guinea Pigs,Mice!!!

I managed to take a picture of my birds now :D but its not a good one since i took it with my phone

The males always sleep stacked on each other xD

That is hilarious. Society's always make me laugh. Mine sleep stacked in the nest, but not on the perch.

awww they are adorable :D

Hahaha its so funny that two of my males dont really seem to get along sometimes, but when its time to sleep, they sleep on top of each other :p bedtime = peace :mrgreen:

hahaha awww this is so cute and i melted into a puddle. societies are just so cuddly with each other and they carry the motto "more the merrier" to the extreme. i love when they all cuddle up into a tiny space together; it melts me into cream. very cute pictures guys, if we can please keep em coming!!! :mrgreen: =D>

Yeahh cuddly societies are the cutest thing :D My birds only sleep like that, i dont see them stacked on each other during the day - thats why it is rare for me to get pictures of them like that :mrgreen: Its always so dark when i want to take a picture of the society pyramid lol
