Twinspot hen dead this morning :(

Post by G8love4finches » Fri Jan 20, 2012 11:05 am

This morning I found my Green Twinspot hen dead on the bottom of the cage :( :( I suspect she may have been egg bound?.....They were adding to a nest they were spending a lot of time in it and I was expecting eggs soon....These little guys sure can hide how sick they are....Last night I noticed she looked a little sleepy to me?....But I ignored it...At least I enjoyed her beauty for about a year....I will be moving the male soon, into my flight cage and admire his beauty!....I know I kept them healthy longer than most, so I was doing something right.....So sad :( :(

So sorry to hear of your loss!
I know how you feel!!
It's heart breaking!
Maybe you can get another hen
in the spring from Ponytail Joe!

I'm very sorry to hear about your hen. You did a great job for the year you had her with you. RIP. [-o<
