Such a beautiful sight

Post by finchandlovebird » Sat Mar 10, 2012 9:55 am

Aha !! Many of you exclaim about the thrill of seeing that first egg. I am jubilant, not because of an egg, but due to a head full of quills on my Gouldian hen. Her babies fledged 12/29 & she has looked like "hell" since then. First she just looked bedraggled, then she got bald spots on her chin & neck. I was so worried about her & thought she was maybe going to die. Well; patience & great food show she is now completing a healthy molt & will be beautiful once again. Love that head full of quills !!! =D>

That's wonderful news. :D Sorry she had to go through that. Was she a new mom?
