Pics of my adults
I couldnt all the pictures in my last message regarding babies and adult colouration! He is the baby I am unsure about, and a lovely new male I have added to pair with my fawn female. Any guesses about colour variety would be appreciated.

Re: Pics of my adults
This is a female silver Isabel. This is a link on the Florid Fancy and Isabels...she is pretty. How old is she?
Notice the tail bars look silver and she has no tear.
I would love to see pictures of her parents.

Below is a link to what fawn look like
http://www.efinch.com/species/fawnzeb.htm
You can have fawn isabels and fawn silver isabels but yours looks like a silver isabel.
Does your male look like the white Florida Fancy like the top picture on this site? If so it would explain the silver Isabel offspring. If the male is a FF and mom is a normal gray you can get silvers., you said she was pied...does she have white wing edges or does she have white throughout her body? http://www.efinch.com/species/ffzeb.htm Can you post pictures of the parents?

Re: Pics of my adults
Oh my goodness you are so right! I am newer to finches, she is one of my first, she is about 8 months to one year. Now that I checked the descriptions out I see that she is not a fawn! Here is a pic of a male I purchased to pair with her. Any idea to what colour combo he is??? He is silvery/beige, and his orange cheek patches are dilute, not the usual orange.
Thanks so much!

Re: Pics of my adults
Okay, I finally got the hang of the picture upload using photobucket!! The first two picks are my male unsure if he is fawn or silver, some help? I have paired him with my isabelle female whom I originally thought was a fawn. She is in the last picture. Thanks for the help there! the first baby pick is one I am unsure about, instead of white underneath and along sides it is cream coloured, and the tail bars are cream. The other two in that clutch are almost twins looking like the second baby picture, I could only get one to sit still! They are very full, just finished a feeding! Parents were normal grey male, and grey pied female. Also any idea of what combo I will get with the pairing of the adults in these pictures? Babies are 6 weeks old, when should they get their full colouring? Thanks again!

Re: Pics of my adults
Your male looks to be split to fawn (notice the wings have a fawn coloring to them plus his sister is fawn), when you pair an Isabel with a normal you can get silvers. Since dad is split to fawn you will get fawn female offspring and you can get fawn silver females. The little one on the snowflake pattern looks silver, notice the tail bars are silver, if it is a boy it may be a Florida silver...the wing pattern looks to be that of a FS. (these are not pied). The one on the cage looks like it may be normal. Are the tail bars silver or more black in person? In the picture they look dark gray. Keep us posted on the coloring as the young grow.

Re: Pics of my adults
I also noticed on the chicks the lack of a tear on the one and a very faint tear on the other. These both may be dark silver Isabels, the one on the cage may be a dark fawn silver. Mom has no tear which is a trait of Isabel/FF/FS. The chick on the bottom may loose the tear completely and if a male get the orange cheek patches. Isabel iand FF FS take a bit longer to color up than most mutations.

Cindy, they do look like dark FS or silver isabel, I see some wing lacing if you look close enough.
