Some zebra pics with new camera

Post by Bluebonnet » Sun Mar 11, 2012 8:15 pm

Still trying to get used to my new camera, a Canon SX130 IS. Also, I put these images on photobucket and don't know how to make them smaller here on the forum to be larger when you click on them, so apologies for the huge pics. (edit: I see they got smaller when I submitted the post, so nevermind! :) )

Thanks, Oshtray. I went into Petsmart for some bird seed and saw this pair and fell for those cheeks. :)

Thanks also, Cindy. I'll keep playing with the camera. At least I know it's me and not the camera if they're out of focus.

Thanks. He's very amusing as well and probably the least flighty of my zebras.

I get everyone mixed up, but thought you had a birthday recently? Target is selling this camera for $99.99, if you can find one in their store. I bought the last one they had available on their website.

You have a good memory! These are indeed newish birds. I rehomed 4 zebras and got this pair about a month ago at Petsmart. I mean, who could have resisted??

Thank you Dee, Lisa, Ameza, and JohnBoy. I was doing a lot of experimenting with the camera when I took those shots. Now if only I could remember what camera settings I was using for those last few pictures.

Thanks Katie. I didn't notice if she had black in her chest or not and I'm not really sure what I'd be looking for. I don't have a normal female to compare her to.

Oh, I didn't realize. Well, lucky me. So, could they possibly produce offspring that are black cheeked/pied?
