Re: PEARL HEADED SILVERBILLS
We have them in a mixed flight and have been non-aggressive towards owls, shaftails, stars, gouldians, firefinch and diamond doves.
Set them up for breeding once, but never got any eggs. It's possible that we have 2 males because they are very difficult to sex. They really enjoyed a nest box with lots of foliage. Slept in it every night.
They sing a lot and like to stick their tongues out while doing so!

Re: PEARL HEADED SILVERBILLS
Very charming birds with a very unusual song. Never seen them act aggressively towards other species. And yes, like Brian said, ours like to stick their tongues out when they are singing.

Just out of curiosity, do you and birdclaws live together? I just noticed you two have the exact same birds!lawnsofdawns wrote:Very charming birds with a very unusual song. God is my redeemer and it is through Him I have found eternal happiness. I am grateful, I am blessed, and I am truly loved. I wish all this and more for all members of our finch forum family. May you all be blessed and highly favored.
