Its a lilac breasted male, colour will brighten in and be a nice sharp lilac not as dull as a hens colour. When breeding him I would look at a white chested hen this will give you some lilac young. As for the dark beau I wouldn't worry as alot of my yellow head gouldians start off with some dark patches on their beaks.

A comment about WB.
I have a BH-WB-BB male that when I got him I thought he was LB, because I saw some light purple feathers on his chest. I think I read it described as a "dirty" white. But after his next molt, his chest was WHITE.

This is his second molt. The first time he got stuck in molt but had a small white looking patch that's why it was thought he was going to be white breasted but this time around there are purple feathers. I guess it will just be a waiting game to see what happens :D
