i have 3 little babies that fledged the other day i love them they are so curious and fun. I really like the pied baby i don't think I've seen one quite like it. :D :D

Cute babies! I'm going to move this to Breeding, as it really doesn't belong in Diet and Nutrition. If you prefer another forum, such as Species or Finch Chat, just say so, and it can be moved to the forum of your preference--it would fit in any of those.

Thanks so much I love them and am excited to be able to put them with the rest of the zebra finches. This is my first time breeding this pair so i was really interested in seeing what genes they both had. We'll have to see what their next clutch looks like. :D :D

the first picture you posted is a pied zeb :) The others are split. Hes so cute! what are you naming the little pied one?

Mangotango in the second pic the mom is the finch on your far right, and on the third pic the male is on the ground with the pied baby. I will get some more pics and post them.

I would name him little wolf :) he has wolf colors! but of course, he is a zebra! and wolf can go both ways, my friend had a female cockatiel named wolf.
Either way though, you see the black spot on the beak? that is going to be orange :)
