It is too late for me to check now, all the birdies are sleeping, but I can check tomorrow. I have 48" tubes. I had gotten some Ott-lite Grow bulbs some years back, had them in storage, so I put one of them in each double shop light fixture. For the other tube, I got some at Home Depot, I think it was. The CRI is at least 90, and they are labeled full-spectrum daylight, I think. Brand is either GE or Phillips. The Ott-lites are expensive (I got mine in a clearance deal), think they are about $20 at Home Depot, but the other daylight bulbs were about $6-7.

i am currently using GE sunshine 48' bulbs with CRI-90 and color temp 5000

is that enough ? I read in several places that CRI needs to be atleast 96-98 and the color temp to be about 6500 ???

Repti-glow 2.0 bulb has CRI-98 & color temp - 6700 and its only $14.00 online for 48'.

but i donno if its suitable for gouldians since its meant for reptiles

GE, that is the second tube in each of my 4' setups. I have shelves that are 6' long, with two 34" long breeding cages on each shelf, and then I lay a 4' double shop light on the top of the cages, so each cage is getting about 2' length, with 2 tubes. That is a lot of light.

I use the full spectrum fixtures from Wal-Mart because they are really cheap and easy. You just set them on top. I don't know the brand, but I think it is the only long full spectrum lights there.
