Both quoted from the friend/foe tab.

Friends enable you quick access to members you communicate with frequently. If the template has relevant support any posts made by a friend may be highlighted.

Foes are users which will be ignored by default. Posts by these users will not be fully visible. Personal messages from foes are not permitted. Please note that you cannot ignore moderators or administrators.

Ummm, how do I edit my profile? for that matter, what happened to the format of the forum?? my page looks completely different, and I am not pleased. no more green background, no more FIC, no more cute birdies in the corners. Everything is gone! it's all boring gray background. I use the iPad to get on the forum; would that make a difference? I've never had problems before... please help me figure out how to get it back!

on the bottom of Ipad screen you will see the option. desktop or mobil/ipad. Choose the desktop - then you will see the green background and birdies again

I like the new forum and it's goodies, especially after clicking the 'disable php mobile' at the bottom of my ipad! I was worried for a while when it was not working.

Another new item is you may now search within your PM messages., birthdays are noted at the bottom of the page, I could go on and on but just explore around and you will discover all kinds of changes / new ietms and more are in the works.

I have a friend/foe question. When it says personal messages from foes are not permitted, are the senders notified that they are foes and the message is blocked? Do other forum members see who is a friend or who is a foe?

Ok, now that I've learned how to get out of the mobile version, I am happy!
Other than those mentioned above, so far I see that:
-Your progress to next rank is shown next to each post-cool!
- you can mark a certain post as unread- handy if I don't have time to read an entire thread but don't want to have to figure out where I left off later on!

Looking forwards to discovering more!

It does look like you will have to change your bookmark, if you have FF bookmarked, as I got an error when trying to get on all day. I eventually typed in the web address and it got me on.

I was getting the General Error message for a while today, too, so I just logged off and checked back later. Crystal is working very hard to make these changes to the forum, and so you may find a time or two when you cannot log in, or you can't reply--just give it a little time and try again. Once all these changes are finished, it should be much easier.

Good question, Charlie. Apparently, the old 'foe' button did not block PM's from foes, but now it is supposed to. And I can't answer if other forum members see who is a friend or who is a foe. I was going to say you could pretend to make me a foe, but you can't block moderators! ;)
