Re: Whats this male?
As a European I would say this bird is Black Breasted Fawn Isabel aka Phaeo.
I had no idea OB and BB worked differently in the world, apparently I'm falling behind in the genetics, lol.

Re: Whats this male?
Ameza...in Australia they do not have BB but their Isabels combined with OB have the almost same effect. Wish they had BB down there, their birds would be really something!

Re: Whats this male?
That's quite funny really, that they don't have BB since the birds origin from Australia.

Re: Whats this male?
But to look at what they term Red Isabel it looks just like a Isabel BB (phaeo). Then add fawn to the mix...Red Fawn Isabel. Some use the OB symbols for red.

They don't have penguins, BB, BC, BCCFW, FF and possibly crested...either....I have to check on that.Ameza wrote:That's quite funny really, that they don't have BB since the birds origin from Australia.
They have Grizzle, George and Charcoal.....and we don't. Some of these were discover after the ban on imports/exports in and out of Australia.

Re: Whats this male?
They are beautiful birds. Some of the mutations we have are much wanted by Australian zebra breeders also. It is a shame importing/exporting rules won't change.
