"Pee-pee-pee-ing sounds" which kinds do this?

That would be a great option! However I am in very rural ID. Only finches in this area are zebras and society. I had to drive over 3 hours on way to get the small variety I currently have.
I am thinking of going for gouldians, C.blues, and more star. You can't find the parrot head types around here but love their coloring!

Well, rkn, now I have to admit I can see what you have been going thru, or rather listening to. My one pair of Owls never made a lot of noise, even with babies, and their babies have been quiet, too. I just got another pair of Owls. They are in quarantine in one room, and the juvie Owls are in another. All is quiet until they start calling back and forth, and it gets louder and louder and louder! Pee!Peee!!Peee!!! They drown out all the songs from the other birds. Thankfully, they don't do it all the time, but the first time I heard them, I thought of you.
