And the crested, I recently got from you, Uncle yum yum.

It's amazing Liz and all the people who are watching this post. I peeked into the nest a few minutes ago and guess what! one of the Babes Hatched. It's so Tiny!. Ryuuzaki was proud enough to sit up a little in the nest and showed me it's little body and wings.

I am so Amazed ^^.

Erica, I'm gonna go out on a limb here, where did you come up with the names Haru and Ryuuzaki? Because I am thinking of a movie "The Cat Returns" , and a very awesome series called "Death Note". Is this coincidence? If so, please overlook my nerdyness...

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay Erica! I'm so very happy and excited for you!!! Congratulations!

It truly is amazing, isn't it! It never gets old, Erica! I get excited everytime I see a new hatchling - even after seeing hundreds of them.

Congratulations again - I'm so proud of you!

@ Meagan83 you are semi correct. I did indeed get Ryuuzaki from Death note, How he got his name was more random, I was reading the series out of order, at the time, He came to live with us and we didn't know what to call him, So I blurted it out and my mom took to it, I had also seen the films before reading the series out of order. I guess you could say the bird looks something like the character too.
It actually didn't become apparent the name Haru was used in the Cat returns film, until I had seen it, and it is a favorite by the way. XD Haru's color isn't spring like though, but her personality certainly is =D.

@Liz ^^ Thank you so much for the encouragement, and they love the little one so much! and Haru looks so happy and content looking. the parents haven't left the nest yet. My mother is in love with Lima bean, the orange head, green back, purple beast, Gouldian female XD.

A big thanks to all that have posted, and have encouraged me through this new event of breeding my first XD.

That's the best part - I get to enjoy them but don't have to clean up after them!

I'm so proud of my babies!
