Without liquid calcium, about all I would do is keep the heat on her, and keep a damp towel on the cage to provide humidity. Please keep us posted.

Did you call Target to make sure they have it? And many stores close early on Sundays.

A small update, she has been passing stool fine as well as she IS eating. apparently her neck was pecked of feathers and it's kind of bare, but i can see that her crop is full of seeds so i'm happy she is still well enough to eat and poop!

please tell me i'm not losing my baby?

EDIT: in checking my other finches' upper abdomen, i have found that the chest muscles are just dark in general. She is likely dehydrated and i would like to know how to get liquids into her in the least stressful way possible?

EDIT AGAIN**
So i found a little water eye dropper(from a thing i had a long time ago i never really used) so i cleaned it out with really hot water and i found that if i fill it with room temp water, and let a little drop on the end of it and put it at the tip of her beak, that she will sip it out of the eye dropper. so tomorrow until i find out when i can get some Liquid calcium, i will be letting her sip at water every 10 minutes or so.

She is still here, still eating, still pooping. She sleeps a lot but she has had the same amount of energy as the past few days. if she is not in her cage(when i am changing bedding and such) she hops around until she finds a comfortable spot and then goes back to sleep...

What other then egg binding could this be? Peritonitis?
