Cuttle Bone Attatchment

Post by 30 Seconds to Bob » Mon Aug 20, 2012 9:32 pm

I explained in an earlier post how I attatch my cuttle bones to the cages, but you know what they say......a picture is worth a thousand words. It takes less than five minutes to hollow out a spot with a sharp knife and stick two holes through it. Insert a twist tie and tightly twist it around two cage bars. They never come off until the birds completely devour the bones. Simple, but effective. Bob

I have been using that trick but use a philips head screw driver and gently twist to make the hole(s) and add a zip tie and you are good to go. I tried using a sharp knife but let's put it this way...the screw driver is safer.
