Also one thing I thought of, the bottom of the cage isn't flat, it's like the sides of the cage, with little rows of the wire stuff... you know what I mean! If they do have babies, should I put some newspaper or something along the bottom?

That would be the best thing to do if they were to fall out of the nest. i have newspaper in all my cages. i actually had a baby fall out of the nest todayt from 3 ft and luckily the bottom of the cage has a good layer of newspaper to break the fall other wise he probably wouldnt have made it if the floor was wire.

I just went out and bought a wicker nest and some nesting material from the shop, and the little devils aint even nesting anymore! I'm sure they will use it when they want, silly little guys!
I feel alot better about her laying eggs now because she looks a lot better than she did last time she attempted to!

just give them a day or two. The male will eventually get the material and start build in the nest.
