Re: Drying your own eggfood?
My friend has been using it for years and I have used it on lots of new babies with no problems.

Cindy I don't see why that wouldn't work using plain cornmeal......I might try that myself. Let us know how it works out.

Sherry, you add the feather fast AFTER it's baked and crumbled, or BEFORE it's baked?ranchnanny wrote: I also add Feather Fast to the finished product.

Cindy, do you use whole wheat germ, or wheat germ oil?cindy wrote: I followed Debbie's instructions and just mixed the Jiffy mix with 6 eggs, Lafebers finch pellets, wheat germ, nutriberri parakeet balls, crated carrots...added crumbled eggshels as I cracked the eggs.
My daughter called me while I was doing this...she said it REALLY sounds yummy!!!
My husband comes in and noticed I was baking then asked if it was for the birds or him....I think I owe him cornbread minus the extras!!!
If they like it this will be great...no more boiled egg smell in the house!!!
It is baking now!!!

I use the Feather Fast after it is cooled and ground up.
