I don't know about the mutation, but I do see a tiny one between the three white ones, that looks smaller and darker? Will that one be a normal? Cute babies!

Alex, BB babies look like female penguins (white cheeks) in the nest...are the cheeks white?

Scroll down to the picture of the pair of penguins...do the babies look like the female penguin...if so you may very well indeed have BB babies.

Hello, i have a pair of zebra finches! Grey male has bright white belly, black breast bar, grey white stripes, black tear drop with white mark and tiny black mark between dark orange beak and white mark, orange cheek patch, orange on side with white dots, wings and back are dark grey almost charcoal?? Tail is black with white squares?? The female is fawn?? Black tear drop, brownish tail with squares that are light brown or fawn or cream?? They have laid a clutch of 5. Can any help me with what my birds genetics are and if the do breed what type of offspring the would breed??? Thanks

It would be best to start a separate thread and post a picture of each...going by what you are saying it sounds like a normal male and a fawn female but there can be physical traits that can show splits to recessive genes.
