Ok so I did it --- I took the hen that I got out of this breeding and paired her up with a Eumo/Cfw
So the hen is Cfw / BC / Eumo
The male as far as I know is Eumo/ Cfw
I have 3 baby's
And this is what they look like so far
So what do you guys think ??

Congratulations on your chicks, I would rest the mom based on her young age before you let her go to clutch again.

That is good to know....the date and the baby colored beak may have given us the impression she was under 3 months!

I had a male CFW eumo. He looked interesting but I think that the eumos are better on just the grey series because you don't get the eumo coloring on the CFW eumos. The question of BF vs eumo is an interesting one. I just bred a BC eumo female to a BF /eumo /BC hoping to get a BF BC eumo. I figured that by the odds I would have a 1/8 chance of getting one (1/2 chance of BF x 1/2 chance of eumo x 1/2 chance of BC). Just weaned the 5 chicks but I think I might have gotten lucky because one or two are definitely BC eumos ?BF. I am not sure how I will know if they are both BF and eumo as they both have that black area in front of tear and their undersides are black. The eumo I can figure out from feathers but its the BF part. Any hints from anyone?
If I do get one I think I might go for BC BF BB eumo!

the eumo has no flank spots
http://zebrafinch.info/colours/?mutation=128
the black face should have flank spots
The through on a BF may have more barring. Lori if you can post pictures when they totally color out that may help.

With a Eumo/CFW male and a CFW/BC EUMO hen you get:
6.25% eumo Chestnut flanked white Males
6.25% Chestnut flanked white /eumo Black cheeked Males
6.25% eumo Chestnut flanked white /Black cheeked Males
6.25% Chestnut flanked white /eumo Females
6.25% eumo Chestnut flanked white Females
6.25% Chestnut flanked white /eumo Black cheeked Females
6.25% eumo Chestnut flanked white /Black cheeked Females
6.25% Chestnut flanked white /eump Males
6.25% eumo /Chestnut flanked white Males
6.25% Normal/eumo Black cheeked Chestnut flanked white Males
6.25% eumo /Black cheeked Chestnut flanked white Males
6.25% Normal/eumo Females
6.25% eumo Females
6.25% Normal/eumo Black cheeked Females
6.25% eumo /Black cheeked Females
6.25% Normal/eumo Chestnut flanked white Males
The pairing of eumo and CFW seems pointless to me, they work in total opposite way.

I agree with you !!!! ;). But it's one of those things were you do it just to see what it looks like -- and I guess to be able to say that I've done it -- lol -- it mite sound silly but that's what breeding mutations is all about --- some times thinking outside the box can be a good thing --(well ---- when it works in your favor ) lol

hopefully after this I can say I know what a Cfw eumo looks like --lol

I have seen CFW eumo hens.
They are white with black/dark gray bottoms and dark gray tail bars.
And If I remeber correctly, they have also grey face.
Dont remember if I saw males to.
